If you made it to this page, I wonder if you identify with any of these issues:

-
Struggling with a significant loss or the burden of too many losses
-
Feeling like doctors’ appointments and health concerns have become a full-time job
-
Feeling hopeless about where to find joy and satisfaction
-
Being disconnected or isolated from others
-
Struggling to find meaning in retirement years
-
Fears of aging and/or death
-
Frustration that you have become a caregiver for a loved one
Perhaps you hope to:

-
Learn new ways to explore and live with grief
-
Find ways to keep health concerns or chronic pain from running your life
-
Start living rather than simply existing
-
Reengage with family and friends
-
Find purpose in retirement years
-
Work towards acceptance, meaning and even joy in being an older adult
-
Explore your own mortality and feel more comfortable discussing it with loved ones

If so, you came to the right place!

I offer open-minded and nonjudgmental therapy to older adults. During our sessions I draw on the following approaches: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness.

I am not trained in, and therefore do not offer therapy for the following: psychosis, PTSD, personality disorders, eating disorders.
